Frozen Faucet

Not quite what I wanted but close enough. This was taken in our backyard with an old OM-mount Vivitar 35mm F/2.8 lens that has a close-up function. As you can see, there wasn’t much depth of field, but I’m happy with the composition. I would have loved to have taken this one straight on, but that would have meant lying in the snow to capture the image.

    I like the optical illusion created by the interior of the faucet which appears to be resting opposite to the “red” grip that surrounds it.
    it would have been great to have seen the faucet straight=on as well.
